Return Policy

RETURN POLICY

Regular priced merchandise can be returned within 21 days of the order date. Any merchandise returned outside of the 21-day return period will not be accepted.

Returns are for in-store credit or exchange only. We do not issue refunds to the original payment method. Store credit will be issued either as:

  • A Birch & Bell gift card sent by email, or

  • Credit applied directly to your customer account for use on future purchases.

Any item listed on sale is considered final sale and will not be accepted for return. No exceptions.
Any item purchased with a discount of 30% off or more is also considered final sale.
We do not cancel orders once they are placed.

RETURN SHIPPING OPTIONS

  • At checkout, you can add Return Protection for $1.98. This gives you Free Returns (for in-store credit or exchange) if you decide to send something back.

  • If you do not add Return Protection at checkout, returns can still be made with a flat $6.95 return shipping fee.


TO QUALIFY FOR A RETURN, ALL ITEMS MUST BE:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in new condition

  • Free from deodorant, makeup, smoke, or stains

  • Original tags attached

  • Placed in the original packaging or new packaging with all old labels covered

  • Shoes must be returned in their brand new shoe box. If the shoe box is damaged or used as the shipping box, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted.

Items returned not meeting the above requirements will either be sent back to the customer or charged a 20% restocking fee.


RETURN REQUEST

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your customer account on our website.

  2. Select the order and items you’d like to return.

  3. A prepaid return label will be provided.

    • If you purchased Return Protection ($1.98) → your return label is free.

    • If you did not purchase Return Protection → your return label is $6.95 flat fee.

  4. Enter the return reason and action needed (credit or exchange).

  5. Send back your order in a timely manner.

Once your return is received, our team will process it within 1–2 business days.


FINAL SALE ITEMS

The following are non-returnable:

  • All sale tab items

  • Any sitewide sale purchase of 30% off or more

  • Jewelry

  • Handbags

  • Able jewelry and leather bags

  • Fragrances

  • Headwear (hats, headbands, hair clips, etc.)

  • Bralettes, scarves, bodysuits

  • Seasonal items

  • Any item considered a “Doorbuster”


LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen in transit. Please contact USPS or UPS with your tracking number for assistance.


DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you believe you received defective or damaged merchandise, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery. Start a return request and attach photos. We are not responsible for items damaged after wear or washing.


ORDER ERROR

If you received an incorrect item, email us at info@birchandbell.com within 3 days of delivery with your Order # and a description of the error.


RETURN PROCESSING TIME

Please allow 1–2 business days for our team to receive, inspect, and process your return. Once processed, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your in-store credit, either as a Birch & Bell gift card or as credit in your customer account.
